Spoiler: Oh and I don't know why no one has mentioned it yet but Dean Stockwell is still the best cylon. If it wasn't for him they would would look like a pretty stupid enemy by now :D
• sataicallistasataicallista High Priestess of Squeee!
Spoiler: Well of course, he is Number One after all :D
• SanfamSanfam I like clocks.
Spoiler: Of course he's intelligent. He's got Ziggy constantly supplying him with details!
• I wonder how different the final 5 are since they didn't seem to suffer the same way that Leobin did in the mini-series when they were restocking Galactica with weapons after the initial attack on the colonies. I mean, Tyrol was on that station longer than anyone.

And we still know so little about the Cylons, because unless I missed it, we have no idea exactly what happened when they became sentient. Did they all become sentient at once, like someone (human) flipped a switch? Or was it gradual starting with one lone toaster who slowly turned the others?

There could still be a whole subsection of their culture that we know nothing about. Just like the hybrids that power the Basestars. I find it hard to believe that the Cylons consist of 12 human models, raiders, centurions and ship hybrids alone.
• WORFWORF The Burninator
They weren't in the nebula long enough to be affected by it. Remember they had a Doral aboard who was left behind, he wasn't showing any signs until the Cylons picked him up some time later.
Did anyone notice the bright light next to the sun in the flashback scene of Starbucks journey to Earth? Perhaps the ship of lights as in the original story of BSG?
• WORFWORF The Burninator
Spoiler: Starbuck said she was looking for a trinary system, which we know ours isn't. In the clip we saw what she believes to be three suns but two of them aren't quite bright enough.

• sataicallistasataicallista High Priestess of Squeee!
Yeah, I agree. Those can't have been suns, but what, then, were they?
• JackNJackN Lightwave Alien
Spoiler: As with the AI's in Space:AAB, I find myself interested in how the Cylons can maintain realtime networking and down/uploads across such vast distances.

I heard mention of a server on the nearest ressurection ship.

Any ideas, theories?
• Vorlons in my HeadVorlons in my Head The Vorlons told me to.
Well I think there is a fundamental problem with the concept of the cylon downloading process. The way it seems to work is as soon as one dies the conciousness is broadcast into space for a ressurection ship to pick up. If it were this way then it doesn't matter how far away a cylon dies. The res ship just needs to calculate how far away the signal has traveled from the point of death and intercept it. But that wouldn't work if the cylon suffers a sudden death, like say being vaporized instantly from a nuke or some sort of complete and sudden brain death/destruction. There would be no time to broadcast it. The other possible way is the cylon brain is continually broadcasting or streaming the conscious process and the res ship needs to be in range to recieve it continually. This should in theory be limited by shielding in a ship or any sort of interference. The problem with this is the ship needs to stay very close and you could pinpoint the fleet by chasing the broadcast from agents in the fleet. The real explanation though is that there is no explanation. We are not supposed to understand how it works. We just need to assume it does since it's essential to the plot. :D
• SanfamSanfam I like clocks.
So what exactly happened with the "Cylon Homeworld," anyway? I find it amusing that the show has only ever really touched on it once. Our Cylon friends are way the fuck out there doing who knows what, but it never seems as if the sum of their fleet is too far behind. The answer is obvious, but I must still ask the question. :p

Spoiler: It Was Earth All Along!
• Vorlons in my HeadVorlons in my Head The Vorlons told me to.
The cyclons just want a world with a better view. Rumor has it Earth has more beach front property than Cylonia. Just a lot of factories and raider parking lots there.

Anyone notice Spoiler: Adama sent two cylons to find earth with Starbuck? I think it would be a fabulous end if Athena turned out to be a sleeper anyway and phoned home to tell them were earth is.
• SanfamSanfam I like clocks.
Spoiler: I noticed that...and thought I mentioned it above. :p Guess I left it out. I'm really curious how Anders' presence is going to play out on board the Demetrius. He's never quite demonstrated the tendencies in and general "good of the many" traits of the other three. I'm guessing he'll quell dissent and directly assist Starbuck in overcoming some large obstacle (I know, I'm using so much detail here :p). I'll just let everyone else say it in a more clear and concise manner.

Raptor computers run on vacuum tubes?
• David of MacDavid of Mac Elite Ranger Ca
It's contemporaneous with the phones they use. Also, Spoiler: did anyone else love the scene where the Chief had his breakdown and Adama was all emotionally supportive friend and then just cut off his balls when he realized that Tyrol wasn't coming back to sanity-land anytime soon?

Also, no Demetrius (almost) or Natalie this week. Maybe her group really is dead. Except, I think I remember a line from a trailer that she hasn't said yet.
• Vorlons in my HeadVorlons in my Head The Vorlons told me to.
Spoiler: heh, I knew it. Chief still want's his Boomer. That was indeed a good scene with Adama. I also thought they killed racetrack there for a second. That would have just outright wasteful. She's waaaaaay too cute to die. Thank gods she's ok :D
• SanfamSanfam I like clocks.
Spoiler: Wait, Racetrack's too cute but Callie wasn't? You've just lost your posting rights, buddy :p

It's really fascinating to watch the three on Galactica drift into unique forms of self-destruction. Tory is crafting some curious parallels to headsix in her more manipulative states. Tigh and Tyrol are exceptionally interesting in the contrast between addressing their loss. But I'm tired, so I'm just not going to think much about it until I can watch it again.

Another damned good, well-rounded episode. Continuing the trend of not seeing the previews this season.
• Entil'ZhaEntil'Zha I see famous people
Spoiler: I thought the Chief pretty much TOLD adama what he was, but adama "Isn't asking the right questions" also, Baltar KNOWS what Tory is, i'm sure of it
• Entil'ZhaEntil'Zha I see famous people
Spoiler: and aside from my prediction of who the 5th cylon is (Billy) I will now make another bold prediction, (unless someone else has already said it here) i've been thinking this ever since Baltar got his little hippie cult together one of 2 things is going to happen, Either they are goign to make it to Earth, and land in the Middle east oh around 2000 years ago, with Baltar becoming Jesus... Or they are goign to land in San Francisco in the 1960's and Baltar is going to become Jerry Garcia...
• MessiahMessiah Failed Experiment
I agree, that was a good episode, especially the skene between Tyrol and Adama. The ending was also, in its way .. perfekt.

Im not predikting anyone being the last kylon, but the perfekt one would be the president. I would laugh so hard. Gods I hate that kharakter..
• Entil'ZhaEntil'Zha I see famous people
Spoiler: It can't be Roslyn, RDM already said that nobody in the "Last Supper" picture who was not already revealed to be a Cylon, was a Cylon,

Spoiler: I was scared for a second there too, I like her, though I find it highly improbably they both escaped that crash without a scratch.
• David of MacDavid of Mac Elite Ranger Ca
Spoiler: Probably just a case of the left hand not knowing what the right hand was doing. It's certainly not the first case of a special effects crash not matching up with the damaged prop they used on-set. If everything's as secretive as I've heard, it's possible the CGI team didn't even receive enough of the script to know that the crew of the raptor was supposed to survive.

Anyone else think that Six knows that Tigh is a Cylon? I'm pretty sure that she does.
Raptor computers run on vacuum tubes?
I don't think they are vacuum tubes per se, I just think it was just meant to be an arbitrary piece of technology. ;) All of the computer systems seem to be a little more advanced than that. A couple episodes ago, Starbuck was looking at maps on what appeared to be a tablet PC. Even the DRADIS console on Galactica has LCD monitors.
• WORFWORF The Burninator
Spoiler: Yeah I think the Six they have in the cell knows that Tigh is a Cylon or is at least starting to figure it out.

No that just means that PDA and dradis console must also run on vacuum tubes. After all Pegasus had steam powered FTL so vacuum tubes are a leap in tech. :D

Spoiler: Natalie already knows the final five are somewhere with the humans so yes, Six doesn't quite know yet but she definately feels it as well and suspects Tigh

It looked more like a fuse, to me.
