Spoiler: Also, i wish i could find the artcile, but Ron moore said that nobody in the "Last Supper" pic, who was not already revealed to be a cylon, was a cylon, which would mean no starbuck, no roslyn, no Adama.
My question about the battle and the way it happened was "Did the Raider just reprogram Sam, or did Sam just reprogram the Raider"?
Spoiler: It was in the Entertainment Weekly "Last Supper" picture when you click on the number 10 (between Tigh and Lee). Perhaps it is someone close to both of them?
We'll never find out who the last cylon is. I bet RDM will probably try to pull of something really annoying like The Sopranos, ending the show with the choice narrowed down to 2 or 3 definate characters and leave it in the air for the viewer to decide who it is.
Spoiler: I think it's quite clear: The final Cylon is Billy, whose unsuccessful tangent-career as a sitcom star has given him the opportunity turn back to that which allowed him to first bloom!
The final cylon is clearly Spoiler: Kenny. Yes that's right, think about it. No matter how many times he's killed off he comes back with all his memories.

Well, that confirms it. Spoiler: Kenny is the final Cylon.

Spoiler: Well, there we go. Sam reprogrammed the Raider.
Spoiler: Actually it looks like no one reprogrammed anyone. The raiders recognized him. They seem to have old dormant programming relating to the five. Oh and a little interesting bit I noticed. When Baltar sees himself and asks if it's Six playing a trick on him. It's the first time he ever actually addresses her by name as Six, which proves that he never actually knew her name.
Nice... hee funny hows its coming full circle
i.e. the Centurions revolting against their masters, but this time against their fellow Cylons. I wonder if the way this is gonna play out is a repeat of the first revolt against humans?
Well Sanfam you were right about the Raiders, re Sam. And thinking about it I agree that Starbuck isn't a plant. If she is indeed connected to the Lords of Kobol it is interesting that leoban saw that she was special, yet none of the others did.
Was that the 1st time Baltar addressed her as Six?
I finally looked at the Last Supper pic tonight, avoided it until now. It does make a good point that the Chiefs kid would be the 2nd Cylon Human Hybrid. And the fact Sam is still married to Kara makes things all the more interesting given whats just occurred.
One thing is for sure, the Cylons no longer have a plan.
AlecM, yup that was a compliment alright. You guys set a new benchmark for SciFi cgi!
Spoiler:
I'm also in agreement about the full circle thing.
The way I see it now is, the final 5 are the humans that turned the cylons against humans in the first place. (Or more closely, their direct kin). Hence why they got recognized by the raiders, who would probably share some of the knowledge with the cylon centurions.
Next circle, the 3-4 cylons that turned off the safeties on the centurions are the final 3-4. (I say 4, because I think someone's getting unboxed later on)
Spoiler: I think the one of the "Fundamental Differences" between the 5, and the 7, is that the 5, are unique, there are no backups, no droves of copies, Just those 5, Maybe if they die there is a Rez ship that they download to and are reborn, but then again, maybe not.
Spoiler: While I'm sure there's no technical hurdle to the Final Five downloading, I'm also sure that the Resurrection Ship isn't set up for them. If that were the case, then D'anna and Baltar could've just grabbed a centurion, given it a blowtorch, and broken into the locked rooms where they keep the spare Tigh, Tyrol, Tory, and Anders bodies.
Maybe if they downloaded, they'd end up in the most similar bodies that were available. Dean Stockwell as Col. Tigh, anyone?
Spoiler: I'm thinking the final five were the first models created but not the ones who turned Cylons against humanity. Razor reveals the Cylons were only just experimenting with that sort of technology at the end of the first war. These five were rejected for some reason and then the new models were programmed not to discuss/think about them. I suspect the resurrection ships weren't built until much later, as such they wouldn't have the ability to revive the final five.
I agree the final five don't use the Resurrection ships. I believe they were created by accident so to speak and the Cylons didn't like what they found. But for some reason they consider them special (i.e. the Raiders do), but unmentionable (for the Human Cylons). Perhaps as a result of the experiments they were the first to have a true connection to the one god? The hybrids appear to have some sort of connection, but this connection appears to have made them insane, to the other models anyway. Perhaps the Cylons were striving for immortality when they came up with the skin jobs, but the final five are not immortal. They live and die like humans.
Btw what was with Roslins comment to Kara, just before she shot at her? 'They made you perfect didn't they'... is that what she said? Playing it back thats what it sounds like to me. Now what was that all about?
You know, I think that's what I love the most about this show, the conversation and debate it creates, all of us discussing many different possibilities. I wish more shows were like this. :)

Spoiler: Probably, "This is just what I'd expect Kara Thrace to do if she were a real human in this situation and not a dirty evil Cylon."
Hmm I do wonder if there was something more to it...
Another thing crossed my mind about the 4.
It occurred to me that 3 of the 4 have been leaders... Anders (lead the freedom fighters on Caprica), Tyrol (lead the Union on New Caprica) and Tigh (lead the Resistance on New Caprica). However Tori hasn't been in such a position.
I think it's more the idea that Spoiler: they are connected to people in power: Tigh is second in command of Galactica, Tori is the President's right hand woman, Tyrol commands the flight deck, a powerful position in it's own right, not to mention he has the trust of the entire ship, and Anders is close to Starbuck, someone obviously at odds with the goals of the Cylons.
