I actually just finished Season 3 tonight finally. Going to watch Razor during the day tomorow, got my dish all aligned perfectly to get Sci-Fi in HD.. and i'm all set for tomorow night.
One problem i had with BSG. I know that earth was supposedly the 13th Colony, and that our lives over the last 4000 years evolved in somewhat the same way, but really, how likely is it the both worlds happened to develop Spoiler: Marlboro Cigarettes and Bob Dylan
Well Sky is getting season 4 in 10 days or so (pretty good going actually) and I have to say the trailer was bloody good. No way I'm waiting that long though :D

Kobol is the 13th colony. Earth was before that, or after, or whatever. Kinda confusing with the what happened before will happen again. Looks like a chicken or the egg sort of thing.
Earth is the 13th colony, Kobol is the original home of mankind.
I have a theory and it's based entirely upon my observations from my recent run through the series and I've not been looking at any rumour or spoiler sites. So it may or may not be true, read at your own risk.
Spoiler: There are twelve colonies, twelve gods and twelve Cylons.
We know that humans once lived on Kobol along side the gods, who supposedly created mankind. Six once told Baltar that humanity turned against the gods and slaughtered them before leaving the planet behind for the twelve colonies and Earth.
Skip ahead a few thousand years and we have humans creating Cylons, who then turn against mankind and kill us. It's been stated the Cylons don't want even the survivors of the attacks to live and come seeking revenge sometime in the future.
So what if one of the original 12 gods survived? He/she found Humanity and the Cylons, took control of them, made them turn against their masters and started the cycle again. This would be the one god the Cylons keep referring to and how they seem to know more about what happened than the humans. I also suspect the 12th Cylon will be this god.
Well that was fun, Spoiler: Did the Cylon do something to Anders..... Or did Anders do something to the Cylon.... Find out next week.... or the week after. or a few weeks after that..
Spoiler: and if it was the same disease that the cylons had in S3, it could mean one of 2 things... that it CAN jump to humans. or that the boy is the last Cylon... Or neither.
Spoiler: Thats precisely what I was thinking about the boy. But it seems the doctor would have cought that given he said it couldn't jump to humans. Anyone care to run back on the season 3 DVD's to verify it's the same disease?
I know they've been doing the Jesus thing for a while with Baltar but this time it was just so blatantly obvious the way they posed that shot. Is Gaius the cylon Jesus and the arrival on Earth the second comming perhaps?
Spoiler: Overall, I thought it was a good episode. However, I found the parts with Baltar to be much less interesting. Perhaps this is because I've wanted him to get his comeuppance for some time now. But I seriously doubt that the boy is a Cylon.
On a side note, I thought the scene where Tigh shot Adama was done very well. For one thing, I was fooled for a second until I realized he shot him in the head and that wouldn't make a very good Season 4. Anyway, I thought it was an interesting way to convey Tigh's fears, even in the middle of a battle. It was also a way of bringing us back to the last moments of Season 3, without taking us completely out of the action. Plus, the way it was filmed was really cool as it looked seamless: Tigh pulls his gun, shoots Adama, the camera spins around to Tigh yelling and the rest of the CIC crew reacting in slow-mo, and then back to reality. Well done. :)
They could have called the first ten minutes an episode and I would have been happy.
Spoiler: While the first ten minutes were defiantly the most exciting, I still liked the interaction between Anders and Kara. Starbuck has always been too wrapped up in her own life/problems to worry about her relationship with Anders, especially now with her "back from the dead" situation. It's as if she doesn't even know Anders exists, except for the whole "if I ever found out you were a Cylon, I'd put a bullet through your head" thing. She has used him from the beginning and in spite of the fact that he seems to be the only one who still accepts her (other than Lee), she pushed him away (or rather, pistol whipped him away). :D
Spoiler: That was a great way to open the season. The four Cylons revealed at the end of last season seem to want to be different, I think they'll turn out to be good guys. However the signs are pointing towards Roslin being the final Cylon and I very much doubt she'll be a nice one when it's revealed.
Spoiler: I find it interesting that the whole reason they think they can be "good" is the fact that they know that they are Cylons and dismiss the possibility that they can turn out like Boomer, simply because they have that knowledge. But Boomer found out that she was a Cylon before she shot Adama.
Moreover, Tigh's "hallucination" in CIC during the battle leads me to believe that he (and the others for that matter) are not in control as much as they would like to believe.
Spoiler: I can't be the only one who has a problem with Tigh being a Cylon. He fought against the Cylons in the first war, so how could he be a Cylon? Unless I guess they aren't exactly Cylons, like if the Ship of Lights or whatever it was fromthe original show is introduced.
Am I the only one here who's lost faith in the show? I'm still watching the final season though, in the hopes that it'll get better, and this episode was OK.

She utters a few words, makes her case (Kinda) And a whole bunch of marines take her down and she winds up in a cell (again).
I just want to know who the last Cylon is dammit!
