Yes! My car works!

SanfamSanfam I like clocks.
April fools. Not really.

"Apply soft, consistent pressure and fitting will release" my ass.

Casualties: 1x 17mm forged steel wrench, 1x 14mm banjo fitting, 1x old slave cylinder.

Hehe, as soon as I saw the topic, I knew it was an April Fools...

Banjo fittings can really suck if they also begin to twist the tubing to which they are attached, often converting said tube into a pretzel before one has the presence of mind to stop turning the wrench...

One more tool down. I've been PBlastering the fitting for days. I've heated/cooled the fitting, I've impact-tested it...no luck. It's just not going to come off, so I'm left with the (apparently) harder way.
  • Go phaser, a PPG should not work.

I've removed a four five long segment of hoses! :P None of the fittings are budging so I've conjured a new plan: Replace it all. Too lazy to try any more and too cheap to risk any more tools.

I found that simply buying a new car works wonders. ;)
