Anyone else watched it yet?

[spoiler]And the Ori are gone at last...YES! Although they weren't so annoying in this as they have been in the past. Actually there was one thing that really did bother me: they had to bring back the Replicators...AGAIN, but at least it was in their original lego block form.[/spoiler]

So yes, I enjoyed it for the most part and I'm looking forward to seeing what they do with the second dvd movie.

    Spoiler: For some reason, the writers seem to have some mental block/unhealthy attachment that prevents them from ever actually getting rid of the replicators. Each time they bring them back, it just makes their eventual defeat all the less believable.

    Spoiler: Yeah, the replicators were a bit of a "what? again", but at least they did a bit of First Contact and then of course Terminator rip-offing ;) Also, i found it very cool that they converted Tomin, i always kinda liked him (maybe because he reminds me of BB?)
    Also, I think they overdid it a bit with the big arial landscape shots, but thats i think forgivable, since on a tv-episode budget and schedule the never were able to do it in the past...

    yeah i've really missed SG-1 too. Ok, the last couple of seasons were below par (IMO because they didnt have O'Neill in them) but still, its been a part of life for 10yrs now, and not having it is like loosing a member of the family :( no matter how bad season 9 was (tho 10 was better) i was never going to turn my back on it

    Spoiler: yeah the replicators were a bit cliche, but i didnt see it coming and at the end of the day that makes it ok

    I had rather mixed feelings about this. For one I was rather pissed off they had to bring back those bloody [Spoiler]replicators again. Such a let down. Plus I felt the IOA guy was just too wreckless as a character. Right off the bat he was cocky and it was just so obvious he was going to do something. On the plus side the cgi was good. We got some nice close ups of the Dedalus.

    Oh and did anyone else notice the goof with Teal'c's grey stripe? When he was making his 'trek' in on scene they have it on the wrong side. doh...[/Spoiler]

    Hopefully the next dvd will be better, some good old Ba'al action :)

    Yeah the CGI was awesome, especially as the ship goes thru the supergate :D
