...for my comprehensive exams on Wednesday (I guess that's tomorrow by now). But I'm not. I have a real problem with motivation lately and I hate that. I really want to get off of my ass and do what I'm supposed to do, but then I don't.
I also go back and forth between being extremely nervous about them to not really caring. I have my oral exams next week. I guess I'll know then if the last year and a half was a total waste or not. This sucks.
I don't know... I'm sorry for rambling. *sigh*

as for motivation, I try and reward myself for working. I lay out all of the things I need to do and then give myself a short break after finishing each one.

Thanks. This is true. But I still have another masters I am working on because, of course, one just isn't enough; so that will occupy me in the short term. I hope with my teaching certification I can find a job, but I foresee several years of substitute teaching *shudder*.

McDonald's is always hiring... and there is a reason for that. ;)
I hope your doing better then that.

I'm apparently quite fortunate in this respect. When I went to the Open House for RIT, where I'll be going to finish a Bachelor's and then do a Master's starting this fall, they told us that 97% of RIT graduates are employed in their field within 6 months of graduation. This happens, they said, because RIT is such a highly respected school that major companies come onto campus all the time and frequently hire students on the spot before they've even graduated. So basically, assuming I make it through the Accounting program (said to be the hardest of the Business majors), I will be pretty much guaranteed a job pretty quickly.
The job is therapist.
Yeah, RIT has mandatory quarter-length co-ops during which you work for a company full time and get a full time wage. You don't go to school and you don't pay any tuition during that time.
