Bioshock is well worth the time and money. It's an amazingly atmospheric game, with stunning artwork and environments. But please be aware that it is not any kind of successor to System Shock. It is its own game with its own ideas; it's not some kind of attempt to make another horror game like System Shock.
Bioshock 2 I know nothing about, except that it's made by a different studio featuring some of the same people.

Ah well I've not played System Shock either. I'm not generally into horror games, but I'm willing to make exceptions :)
I got my copy of Bioshock free when I bought my Xbox 360. I was really suprised with how good it was. I'm not usually into those sort of games, but this was one I could really get into.
Dwarf fortress is still an awesome game. Im not playing it now, however.

Just finished Heavy Rain... And it was interesting.
RubberEagleWhat's a rubber eagle used for, anyway?
My Copy of Heavy Rain is still on the way...
Currently Playing Mass Effect 1 (a thorough playthrough to get a level 60 Character to import into ME2... the savegame I imported for my first ME2 playthrough was a 10-hour quick-runthrough without any sidemissions)
Just finished Heavy Rain as well. Loved it. Going to start a second play through to see what happens when you make different choices.
[SP]Somehow, I was both disappointed and intrigued by Scott Shelby turning out to be the origami killer. Disappointed in the sense that he was my favorite character and I wanted to see more of him, and intrigued by the plot twist. Second play through will be interesting, knowing he's the killer all along.[/SP]
Currently playing Mass Effect 1 so I can play Mass Effect 2. My dad bought 2, and hes played through it twice now, so were gonna swap Dragon Age Origins and ME2 whan Im finished with my second playthrough of DA:O.
I play MyLife right now. Its 3D graphics are stunning. I can't stop playing. My system is currently slowed down a bit by a cold virus, but other than that, it's quite amazing. It's a bit like the Sims, only you understand what the other people are telling you at work, even if it doesn't always make sense. The car I drive to work handles quite well too. Usually people complain about the wonky controls. I think the steering wheel was extremely well implemented. And the devs thought of every little detail, even at the gas station, people just let their cars parked next to the pumps and do their groceries inside the station store while pi$$ing off the people waiting in line outside. I had to LOL last night. The guy in front of me told the other guy to hurry the hell up. Nice touch. People are such egotists. Unbelievable. The only thing I miss is the weapons, health packs and power ups that I've grown used to see floating around.
wife got me downloadable c & c 4... got so many unfinished ones but c & c might be cool. Still working on sins of solar empire, fallout 3, splinter cell, ut3 campaign, supreme commander 1, dirt 2.

Damn you're a lucky bastard! I need to find me a woman who gives me games instead of moans at me for playing them! ;)
Just finished Mass Effect 2. Feel a bit empty after this one. Finishing the first one (EPIC!!) and watching the trailer left me with a happy feeling, almost like being in love with the game. Second one not being as epic was a bit underwelming. Dont misunderstand me, the game was better, the ending was not.
Cant wait to play the third instalment. Ive played through the game making the choices I would actually make myself, first game, I was full on paragon. Second game, I was more half and half, while actually having full paragon, I had almost half renegade, and chose the renegade ending. I fully expect the last game will have me going full on renegade.

I wouldn't describe Bioshock as a horror game.
Worf

That's almost unheard of.
Currently replaying Mass Effect 2 and enjoying even more the 2nd time round :)
atm I only play Forged Alliance with friends against AIx:s.
Wait 'til you get a job and we'll talk about it again. :D
