B5:IFH Con-report and pictures

I'll give you a small review here. A bigger one (with illustrations - a bit later).

We have the video recording of the the demonstration from the "outside" and Oleg's ingame ace-flight. As soon as we make the single post-producted movie, we'll post it. Till then I'll try to take some screen-captures.

Long after the demonstration, when Oleg and Akeen had left already, Andy and I stayed to watch other fans B5 role-playing. Andy was so exhausted that he was eager to find any place to fall on... The source code isn't the problem. The use of B5 models and characters and stories is.

Biggles, I don 't think so.
IFH is a freeware project. If that is so. No one makes money with that product.
For Time Warner it 's a good Thing. I mean that, cause Babylon 5 is a product wich can be selled, too.
And if IFH don 't cost anything the people ( PC-Gamer), then the game takes Babylon 5 in their mind. I think, if this is so, than a future Series with the Theme of B 5 can be successfull.
At this Time Time Warner can made profit with that people, who are playing this game and they don 't forget this series.
Hmmm... an interesting Theory, I think.

OR, it could help to strenghten interest in Babylon 5, and show to WB that there is a market for a B5 game.
Your view is the pessimistic one, mine is optimistic. The truth probably lies somewhere in between.
But keep in mind that WB has always been fan-friendly when it comes to B5.

Or, they might come in and say "sell it to us when it's done, or we shut it down"....might be intersting.
