JackN, does this thread help you in any way? Do you have the M1647 chipset?

yeah that came up in a Google search, and the links no longer work.

    :(

    Thanks...

I had done a search for wiring guides for Front USB to the mother board about a half year ago, and found one site that stated that about 80% of Mobo's use the Intel Standard pinout for USB header, in their list the IWill xp333r was listed as Intel Std... I made some cables today to start making use of the front USB ports.

    About to try them now...

    :)

Also recently located an XP driver for the onboard RAID controller, currently only have the 300 gig as a single drive, looking to buy 3 more over the next few months to make a RAID array.

First though is to max out the RAM to 3 Gig...

    Sigh...

I've had to make a USB connector for the USB header on a non-standard motherboard before. In the end, I just made a plug with single-wire sockets so I could easily move the wires around. Then, after confirming which line was the 5V line, I just plugged each wire into a pin and kept trying different orders until they worked. :)
