Apartment race!

Lord RefaLord Refa Creepy, but in a good way
Okay.. so now I've started looking for reasonable priced apartments from Scotland.. I've been reading that Greenock, as a living place, is too much like my current one. Meaning that it makes you want to hang yourself eventually, so I have considered Glasgow..

Any of these places seem/look/feel familiar/good to any of you scottish folk here?

Couple of them seem to have the trainstations somewhere close, so should be able to get to Greenock by train..

I dont see anything really wrong with any of them, but then again I've never really been in Glasgow for more than 2 hours

No worries. I will just have to contact all of them and hastily choose the one that's still available when I get there.

I know what you are going through, I just got myself a new place the other day and am moving next weekend (18th).

I was looking at some potential ones last night myself. Found some very nice ones which have good rent, but then read through the conditions and found a few nasties (like "no flammable substances" which for me means "no plastic model building").

Doesn't that cover just about everything? :D I think they'd have to be more specific than that.

Seems that all of those on that list are in crappy neighborhoods.. well.. Hope the people at the new work place have some better in mind, cuz from what I've found that looked good from their links, have according to them, been shite..

heh well i've always said the best thing about glasgow is seeing out the back window of the car
  • Price of rent is a good indicator of a neighborhood. Thous looked low. Good luck Refa.

Well, they were. Nothing that's flammable at room temperature.

So they just let you bring along your pet rock... well that's charming. :D I bet the neighbors give you strange looks when you bring along a friend.
  • A pet rock might violate their stringent radiation control policy. :D
