    I don't suppose anyone recognizes the music they've used in these two trailers? I know it's probably just "generic trailer music" from some collection, but hope springs eternal.

    Don't know the song but its come up on some other sci-fi commercials. It sounds like something Bear would make and the violin appears to have a similar rythm to Prelude to War so maybe its part of the new Razor tracks. I've also noticed bits from the BSG intro track being used on movie trailers now.

    I thought it sounded like his stuff, too, and apparently so did some other people. He specifically mentioned that it wasn't his, and he had nothing to do with the promos, in his blog last week.

    The version that airs (simultaneously in the U.S. and Canada, I might add) on November 24 is going to be edited down, both for content (assuming "unrated" isn't just a cheap ploy) and length. The "real" version that's on the DVD (coming out December 6th) will be at least 20-30 minutes longer (because it'll have the young Adama flashbacks integrated), probably a bit more from other miscellaneous deleted scenes (and, hopefully, breasts).

    The young adama chronicles will be one continuos episode on the DVD version.
