Recycling Blog

Falcon1Falcon1 Elite Ranger
Just to let you guys know I've set up a Blog on Recycling. Ok yes another blog to join the millions already. But I want to use this one to make a difference. You see for ages I've wanted to setup a site based around recycling tips. I'm very keen on recycling and do my bit to try an ensure I reduce the amount of waste I generate from going into landfill. There are loads of tips out there and I want to bring them together under one roof and help spread the word. I have a few myself which I have started posting.

I'm new to blogging really so have a lot to learn and need to do some tinkering with the template etc.

Anyway here's the url: http://myrecycletips.blogspot.com/

Let me know what you think. I'd appreciate any comments/ideas people have and do feel free to make a comment on the Blog. I really want to spread the word on this as much as I can.

Green forever!! :D

    Excellent idea.

Did you know there's an electronic version to post-it stickers that you can run on your desktop and requires no paper at all? :D

All I know is that not since the invention of computers and printers have such large amounts of paper been wasted. I see it every day at work. We are working on a solution (like having people pay money for it to reduce waste) but it will take time and money to implement.

I'll see if I can come up with something... green. :)
  • I write all my B5 notes on scrap trash male. I wash the plastic bags but wounder if the water I use is worse then just throwing the bags away.

    Cheers Stingray :)

Well this is the thing, I've had access to "Stickies" on macs for years and simply never use it. I just prefer having the physical item on the desk. I think the whole idea of a paperless office is such a pie in the sky concept. Never happens, not at my place anyway. I always do double sided when printing but most people don't as they just don't think about it.

Chaosed I actually wash my bags first when I start the washing up. The water is cleaner and I don't use extra water rinsing them etc.
