I got that one too. It's just the first time I seen this one in a store. The one I really, REALLY need is Brawl. And no one for 50 miles radius has one!
Or you should wait for the Leader version of Brawl.. he was supposed to tower the other Transformers in the movie, so the smaller one isn't that good for re-enactments.
As promised.. here's a picture of Brawl and Wreckage..
First, about Brawl.. well, you basically need to glue his right arm on it's place, otherwise the weight of the gun on his arm will pull it off. oh yea.. and he really can't do much else than stand straight.. The other one, Wreckage..
He has more moves, and nice articulation with those two nice knives that have nice stiletto style action. Only problem I have with it is that stupid chest gun. If you move his arms up, his chestpiece will go up and head go down..
But other than that, still a better figure than Brawl.. Better looking too IMHO..
Well, I saw it and while I kind of grew up with Transformers (and MASK) I never really cared too much for the show or the characters. And this fact carried over to the movie. While it's technically a great example of movie making, its two-dimensional characters and bland story bring it down. During most of the robot battles I couldn't really make out who was fighting who, and in the end I didn't care anymore who survived or not.
If a battletech movie ever gets made, I hope it will be written by someone who has more than just a basic grasp of storytelling. As far as I'm concerned, Transformers was just the tech demo of a better movie. And hopefully by someone who knows a bit about physics and how mass and size affects agility. I don't want to see mechs sprinting about and jump from skyscraper to skyscraper. :D
Ok, so the chick, Megan Fox, is h.o.t., but even she didn't save this movie.
All in all, I agree with Shadow Boxer's score, 78/100 is about right. Not bad, but not great, above average, see it if you have 2 hours to burn.
Awsome! And I'm going to go see the movie again, but in IMAX this saturday! WOOOHOOO!!! I'm gonna be sooo stoked! Too bad I won't have anyone to take along... oh well. Well they announced the first one to be on the 4th... I got to see it on the 2nd... And Speilburg is on, so I belive that date is pretty accurate.
...the good: Great pacing, I was on edge for most of the movie and above all Prime's voice, which made the movie for me.
...the bad:
- cheeze for cheeze's sake, such as the scene at the parent's house with the robots trying "hide".
- characters who were introduced then didn't really do anything (the analyst and her hacker friend for example).
- LaBeouf's Dawnson's Creek-like dialog.
- Convient setting changes (moving from the Hover Damn to the middle of a city to give the cube to whom?
Basic verdict - A lot of fun to watch, but I doubt I can watch the movie more than a couple times before becoming very annoyed with it (Indenpendence Day is the same way).

meh.. I'd prefer the big one.
Do you have Wreckage already? I think he's pretty cool.. Good articulation and those sword-guns are neat. :)

(Just to keep you on your toes...) :D
And it would take me a day or so to do that Stingray!
When I went to the theater on July 2nd, I didn't even hear HALF of the sounds that is in the movie.
The details were amazing, but I was too close to the screen and had a hard time trying to focus on the real fast paced action.
Otherwise.... Sit in the middle.... lay back... and get the blown away!
