LoL...goodness, I HOPE she's not that 'stupid'!! There was a Generation 1 collection that just went for $1 million US recently!
I was stupid when I was 12-13 and sold sold about 15-20 gen 1 transformers to a comic shop for about 35 dollars...all so I could buy some Star Wars widescreen cards! Now I only have a handful left:( But I'm building my 'collectibles' store back up with some of the new ones;)
My boss has a gen 1 Optimus Prime, boxed... lucky git. I only ever had 3 growing up. A friend of mine has every single comic. Bound to be worth a bit.
$1m for a collection is a bit nuts really but fair play to whoever sold it. I'd love to be getting that for my B5 stuff in 100 years, thats if I'd ever sell it
I can't name all of them, but where did you get the Megatron gun for your masterpiece Starscream? I've seen them pictured and mentioned many times around the net, but was never clear on what it was included with...
Well.. apparently they do.. will check if they sell it there later, and if they ship abroad.. didnt see international option but well.. will see..
Anyhooo...
Here's the bigger chunk of my collection, added all I had in my cabinets.. figures that I deem worthy and not throwing away like some of the stuff I have..
I guess I should post a little of my collection....Sorry for the crappy pics, I got a crappy Polaroid PDC700, saving up for something good.

Hmm.. can you send some close up images of Ratchet in robot mode?
He looked a bit freakish to me.. and dunno.. The movie version didnt have the same kind of umph as the G1 did.. especially in the comics.
One of the most memorable and shocking moments from my childhood is the scene where I first saw him and Megatron joined together after that explosion..
:( I am envious of the larger Titanium Galactica, Peggy, and Classic Raider...those are the three I lack in that set. (that and the Titanium Centurion figure...)
I know that the Armada one for PS2 was pretty good, but what about the newer movie ones?
Heard good things about the DS ones.. but what about Wii? I'd prefer a bit better graphics than the DS ones.. Tempted to get the Decepticon version anyway, even if it had blocky graphics..
I played the 360 version...good graphics, decent gameplay, but the fact that you cannot penetrate enemy shields with sustained fire of any kind (and that the mini-boss and boss shields are up all the time, and you have to stop firing and moving to put up your shields) reduces almost all combat to throwing things (which wouldn't be so bad if the 'pick up item' icon wasn't so touchy to you being oriented right in front of the object--though I hear the Wii controls make targetting easier) and then closing to melee range. I was hoping for a little more strategy.
Add to that the fact they bring in more characters to fight--main characters like Shockwave--that not only create continuity problems for the movie, but also the sequel...I am just NOT a fan of media-license games taking those sorts of liberties. My main reason for getting involved with Beyond the Red Line was to help avoid any kind of imbellishment of existing canon. I hate it when they do that.
The game was fun for a while, but with things like ineffective weapons reducing your strategic options, I was left as disappointed as the game site reviews led me to believe I would be.
It was worth the rental...and the tranformation animations (which you can do at will) are pretty cool. So, not all bad. But yeah, I don't think it's worth full price, even for the Wii version.
From what I've seen from Youtube.. it's not that great. Only one from the movie right?
I really wanted Starscream for the same as in the movie.. It was really well done. They way I always imagined him, from the comics.. not the whiney bitch from G1 cartoons..
My understanding is, the actor that voiced Bumblebee in the movie did most of the transformers in the game...Shia Labouf and Megan Fox did some voice work for it...
...Starscream's voice (who is your 'commander' for at least the first few Decepticon missions...that's as far as I got) is forgettable at best. Just focus on the explosions and transformatin animations, and you won't even miss the voice acting:D
Hmm... They're selling Primus for 39 euros in the store I work at the moment.. well, not exactly sell.. Saw a bunch of them in the warehouse and checked price.. Have to buy one some day before I quit.. I already have Unicron after all..
How is the voice acting in the game?

I thought it was included in all of the versions?
Mine's the original japanese from the first batch.. Bitch to transform tho. Cuz I don't read japanese and it's like 30 section transformation.
I THOUGHT that was Unicron!
The only one I don't know is the one in the lower left then...it looks like a Pretender though?
And I forgot to put Soundblaster and Classic Starscream there even tho I have them..
Tho, the boxes are closed and in mint condition so ...
hehe.. Maybe today..
Should be around 59 usd... I could send the money for it and the shipping?
