A Voice in the Wilderness [part 1]
Another busy episode. Hard to get exercises and notes in!
1) Winters nervous at the elevator Garabaldi in the elevator.
2) The unstabel planet, the beacon.
3) Strange, no news from Mars.
4) Drall, another person who shows up just in time. At least he last as long as the rest of first season. Although he is spoken of I don't think we see him again. This picks at me but isn't too bad. Mostly too close to the last person who is a one show wounder.
5) Open revolt on Mars. ' Mars will run green with Earther blood,... oops humans have red blood sorry. umm red blood then.
6) Man in the Machine calls first to Sinclair then Londo. Sinclair and Ivonava see his projection then him in the cave.
7) Drall tells Delin more of the rift between Religious and Warrior cast. Also a general selfishness. I had herd this is because Valin was imposed on the Minbari and they want to get back to who they were intended to be. Don't know if its real or not.
8) Drall making his last rounds. Going to the sea means dieing right?
9) Garabaldi knows about the ( a ) secret PSI Core base on Mars. From a comic.
10) Man in the Machine ' help me or your people will die, all of your people. I went to the Lurkers Guide to see if it made clear if that meant B5 or all the worlds. I didn't see anything, Doesn't mean it wasn't there.

8) Very little has been said about "Going to the sea" in the series (this, Sheridan mentioning it in the finale, and I feel like there's a third mention, but I don't remember what it could be). Apparently, it's tradition that when a Minbari's life is near its end, he goes wandering as a nomadic traveller until the last of his days.
1) Earth cruiser comes to take over the situation. So ordered by someone. Who was wrong to have given the order.
2) Garabaldi ruffs up a civilian for saying mars people are ingrates and need to be put forcibly put in there place unto death. He dose get his hand slapped by Sinclair. Should have suspended for a few weeks.
3) Sinclair makes up jamming device. So just what is the penalty for lieing to an officer? He got caught and it made him look stupid. Sinclair is supposed to be the diplomat. He should not need to lie.
4) Londo and Drall alsow were called to.
5) " If I were a landing thruster witch one of these would I be? " Much better when people who haven't flown a ship aren't born with the knowledge of what every button in every ship dose. ( I hope I put that correctly /shrugs )
6) Josh Cox(x) with long hair. Yes, he added an 'x' to his name.
7) Kind of a god machine the Great Machine. I wounder how it was dealt with in the original book, were he was going with it and what he would do with it if it was rewritten?

I miss the way Delen had words of enlightenment. One of the best things of season one. /sniff
2) It's just more damn Marsie corruption. The Marsie commander covers for the Marsie-lover cop, big surprise. You ask me, they shouldn't be given responsibility. It's the low gravity, you know. Keeps the brain from developing right. Everyone at Earthgov knows it, but since the Marsies got guns, none of them want to say it.
1) Franklin's free clinic. Making people stay alive at needle point. Something he would.
2) Franklin assumes other Dr., Rosen, is a quack.
3) Londo told to get on the good side with other species. Hijinks ensue.
4) Dr. Rosen abused stems. Patent died. Foreshadowing.
5) Ummm Life energy? That is just DNA doing it's job. What would transfurring of life energy be, moving atoms around? A hint of Zahadoom me thinks.
6) Londo cheats at cards with one of his 6 boy parts. What did you think the things on the godess Lee were.
7) Mind wipe, nifty idea. Going into someone's mind. cool.
8) Murderer gets shot, goes to Dr. Rosen for help from the machine. Threatens her daughter. Machine switched from heal other to kill other. Machine to stay on B5. Dr. choses to leave.
It was used to save Ivonava in season 4. I wounder if that was the intent.
If the device hadn't showed up just in time,.. Well, it made the show episodic. It helped future shows though.
1) Delen working on here art project. Going on for several episodes.
2) Petrov saying there going to kill him. Answered in this episode. Petrove dies. Whom is to die?
3) Morden tells Londo to tell the Centarum He, Londo will take care of quaderent 37. Dunt dunt DA!
4) Sinclair to G'Kar. I feel were at a cross roads. Be carefull of your next choice.
5) Numberless PPG Taken from Devarow. Government issued.
6) Shadow attack on the Narn bace in quad. 37. No survivor.
7) VP gets off EF1 at Mars. Reason? Blow up EF1 or sick.
8) Garabaldi tracks down equipment that look like jamming devices for EF1. Blue Alpha to the rescue!
Blue Alpha saves the day for the bad guys.
9) Delen puts the Trilumanary into here art work? It starts to glow! Filament starts to form on the wall.
10) Delin ask if Sinclair recalls what happened at the battle of the line. He sed yes. She for some strange reason doesn't kill him like the blind Minbari told her to.
Things set in motion. Sinclair hasn't time, will catch up with Delin,.....
11) G'Kar reasons there must be a new power to have destroyed there outpost.
12) Garibaldi says there going to kill the president. After the fact Earth Gov. doesn't believe it, or something.
13) EF1 destroyed, Filmed on the anniversary of the killing of JFK. ( from the Babylon Pod Cast ) Gets to me.
14) Chrysalising sounds painful from the noise Delen is making.
15) Londo shocked at the death count. Still has a way to fall.
16) Kosh sees Sinclair at the bar. " And so it begins " then ' Have you forgotten something? '
I will miss Sinclair. The story would have made more sense had he stayed. O'Hare seemed to have been what JMS wanted. Not the full range Boxlightner had but I was happy. The writing improved much in the 2ed season.

B5 was supposed to have been built with much Minbari money. They made Earth accept Sinclair. why was it so easy to put the Star Killer into the caption's chair? Seems odd Minbar didn't read the print on the document that only gave them one chance to veto a caption.
3) ' We don't harm each other, never had '. Weren't the Menbari fighting among them selves before Vaylin showed up?
4) 12 years after the Earth Minbari war and the military is still using the same scanners. o.O
5) Lener saying the two sides of there souls must come to gather or they will lose. Seems only a few humans will be needed. ;)
As far as the A story goes I liked it.
I got that not all Minbari follow the official line.
2) Sharidon's sister brings the data crystal. Johnny happy now.
3) G'kar back from the rim. Was supposed to have taken longer but Na'Toth #2 couldn't do the job.
4) Londo and Morden happy over the Narn base being destroyed. The result of G'kar's trip given to Morden.
5) Londo and G'kar walking down the hallway all happy with each other. How our friends, nation decide who we like and don't like.
6) Franklin humm whats this crusty stuff all over ya delen? Here I'll just press here and > crunch< 8/ was that supposed to happen?
That didn't look professional to me.

1) Maynard describes a ship he saw wile on the rem. Sounds like a Shadow Ship.
2) 2ed time in a month Sheridon herd there was something going on out at the rim. To Maynard.
3) Franklin to Delen: how are the other Minbari treating you? Delen, ok. Other Minbary; Are you even any longer one of us? We have the right to know.
4) Noone has ever been recovered from hyperspace? I hope that is for Humans only.
1st time they tried the ' telescoping ' rescue? Like the animals in the role playing games say " stupid human "
5) Follow the glowing shot.
This is a huge space station. there are lots of ships to bring the 1/4 Million people there. Were they asked if they would help?
From this is I get Sheridon settles in. Shadows show them selves to more people. I want more of them.
On a side note: I read 'In the Beginning'. Good book. Informative.
1) Freezer folk go to B5. One dead one alive. One murdered.
2) Upon opening the living, the woman's, tube there is a rush of air a spooky something. Something sensed, not observed by the regular senses. Spooks in space are not my friends.
3) Man goes off on que. Looks for the cause of his disturbance. Looks out the window in the floor. B5 is spinning!
Ok I just notice these things. It doesn't ruin the show for me though. It dose get me to ignore things that shouldn't be ignored.
4) Garabaldi was a gropo in the Earth Minibari War.
5) Gut eating monster is watching Ivonava in the freezer ship.
6) Lurker goes to freezer ship. figuring things out. The pull of the feeling.
7) Franklin stop hitting on your client's! All your lovers just go away at the end of the episode.
8) The Copernicus went into the gravitational pull of the moon the lurker was on as a gropo during the Earth Minbari War.
9) Lurker describes the thing that killed people in his unit as something from hell in the middle of a lightning ball. Vorlon meddling I think.
10) Locate Lightning Lad by feelings. I can chase down every little thing that has bitten me that way. O.o
11) The Lurker is floating in space. Seems the monster has him. he cries out to shoot it. We don't see it until it is shot. I'll blame FX.
12) Copernicus Had been reprogramed to go to Za'ha'doom. O2 lost at the moon.
What I get is bad scary things are trying to sneak to a rallying point to someplace with a vary corny name.
The monster thing was a little much, the FX on the monster was bad.
The best thing is how bad it could have been and wasn't.
1) Londo's wives show up, Plague Pestilence, and Death. Thay dont look much like there photos. Marill's photo the worst!
2) Winter's ex husband Stoner shows up to make her a deal to get her out of PSY Core. She decided to stay who she is and not change. PSY Core made an empath.
3) Delenn adopting to her new body.
4) Centari have great parties! 30th anniversary of Londo's Ascension
5) Mariell hangs out with G'Kar? what the Smurff? Were are Londo's spies? Too bad we never hear from her again.
6) PSY Core defends Stoner even though he is no longer part of PSY Core. We never see him or his ilk again.
7) Londo stays with Timov, as with her he knows were he stands.
I'm not shure what I was to get out of this.
Winter's will stay a Teep perhaps? The Emperor favors Londo? Centari in high places will work with there enemies for power? Londo likes to know were he stands? Teeps can be altered into empaths?
Still, this is one of my favoret episodes. I would not want them all or most to be like this.
1) Sheridon and Ivonava to be charged for 7 square feet ( each? ) for the size of there rooms. Taking money from a readiness fund and giving it to them selves to keep the rooms they have.
2) Bester kills a man to get information. He is happy with the trade.
3) Garabaldi calls PSY Core a monster 'we' created. Out of fear we made a big box called PSY Core and put them into it.
4) Run away Teeps decide to kill Bester.
5) I recall Ivonava saying be afraid if she doesn't know what is going on. She doesn't know who is running the underground railroad.
6) Winters can keep secrets from Bester. Ironhart's gift credited.
7) Bester asks Winters if the death of the President is still talked about. Winters ask if it was an accident, Bester sed yes.
8) Winters taken by the runaways. The leader of the Underground Railroad makes a second showing. :)
9) The Underground Railroad leader believes Ironhart gave Winters a gift.
10) Franklin leader of the Underground Railroad. Sheridon upholds the military as the right thing. Franklin's helping the teeps get away is the moral thing to do. :P Clinic set up to help runaways.
11) Human teep breading program.
12) Teeps get mowed down. Winters was on Cores side.
13) Bester walks away on his own. To pretend they had nothing to do with all the dead. What, they just killed themselves? Week. :(
14) Oh it was all a ruse. PSY Core wont do a follow up? Or the records will be altered? Details I don't need to know?
15) Railroad to be closed. Too hot
16) Winters doesn't trust the core any longer.
17) Winters takes a bottle to Ivonava's place. Takes off the badge at Ivonava's goading. The relationship is growing.
What I got out of this episode:
PSY Core bad to teeps for its own advances.
Winters distrust PSY Core now.
Winters gifts from Ironhart and how powerfull they are.
1) Centari Emperor Wants to go to B5 befour it is too late. He is dieing.
2) G'Kar list off offenses the Emperor's people and family have done to the Narn. G'Kar can't see beyond his hate of them.
3) A Ranger skulks about! :)
4) Rifa reveals plots to get power. Londo to read written speech that will make Rifa seem to have the answers, even though he will make some of the problems.
5) Sheridon in the military before Earth Minbari war.
6) Emperor Wants to apologise for what his family had done to the Narn to a Narn in neutral territory. He knows he is dieing and has been doing what others expected of him. He is done with that. He is doing what he should have been doing all along.
7) The Emperor collapses. G'Kar feels cheated.
8) Apology sent to G'Kar through Franklin. G'Kar finds hope for the two peoples.
9) Vir to Londo: Don't do this. The destruction of the Narn base, a listening post. Londo's dream of being strangled and the Shadows ships haunt his sleep.
10) The Narn post is destroyed. There are some survivors.
11) G'Kar buys a drink for Londo to celebrate the apology from the Emperor. Too late.
12) Londo seems to regret his action.
13) Garabaldi gets a message from Sinclair via the Ranger.
14) Garabaldi told to stay close to the Vorlon. Told there is a new race flexing power.
15) Kosh tells the Emperor it will end in fire.
16) Emperor tells Londo he is damed. Rifa ses it is a small price for immortality.
17) Sheriton tells Londo Earth will sent observers to the former Narn base. Earth will find out how the Centari took it so fast. Londo decides to send the Narns back to there home world. Hint that the Centari had help. Narns declair war on the Centari.
Lots going on. Had to go back as I kept forgetting to write things down and my exercise count.
What I got; The war takes a big step.
Londo doesn't like what he is doing but will keep on doing it as it is the Centari way.
Sinclair is working in secret to inform some of a new race to the table in hiding. Has informed B5 officers.
I don't like GROPOS so I skip it. It moves Franklin and Keffer along a bit. How ever it doesn't move the mane story as far as I can Tell. So on to;
All alone in the dark
1) Delenn gets recalled to see if she is still Minbari.
2) Sheriden goes out for a quick fly around. Reports of something abnormal.
3) Ship pops in on Sheridon's group. Two killed, one damaged and leaking lethal amount of radiation Caption captured.
4) Sheridon to be 'Tested'.
5) Delenn booted from the Gray Council. Will remain Ambasador.
6) Naroon too take her place? But he is Warrior. I would like a The Lost Tales about that!
7) Sheridon's dream: Ivonava, Do you know who I ame? Then, Garabaldi: The man inbetween is searching for you. Then a view of Sheridon in black with a cat-o-nine-tails... umm no, a ridding crop type thing. Back to Ivonava who ses: You are the hand. Some black bird on Ivonava's shoulder the first time She is waring black with a black vail the second time and a wight bird on Garabaldie's. Behind is Kosh. Sheridon ask why is he here. Kosh ses for the first time his mind is quiet enough to hear him. Sheridon ask why ame I here. Kosh ses you have always been here.
8) Delenn in transit to B5 gets updated as to what happened. Says there the Scribe and gives there location. Sheridon rescued.
9) Drats I didn't write the general is it? his name. Sheridon complains he has been waiting six months with out being debriefed. Seems he is in on a plot to restore the government and suspect the last President was murdered. Suspect Psy Core.
Sheridon invites late at night Franklin, Garabaldi, and Ivonava into his quarters to invite them into the clandestine effort to remove the corruption from Earth Dome.
Earth Dome is at war with itself.
What I got from this episode:
1) Minbari are at lest a little bit xenophobes.
2) There are species looking to invade weaker worlds. ( they look like Drak light. )
3) I never get dream things so that is lost on me. :( But Kosh being there then near the end repeating that Sheriden had always been there. Kosh can get into peoples minds. Latter we will see just how he did that.
I wanted to put this bit in about the Doctor. I often wondered why they would have included a doctor into there battle with what at first was Earth Gove. Military I can understand but a doc?
Then I recalled he had the most experience running an underground organisation.
And the Narn Sharaden battled in the Scribe ship we see latter if I got that correct.

This is a huge space station. there are lots of ships to bring the 1/4 Million people there. Were they asked if they would help?
From this is I get Sheridon settles in. Shadows show them selves to more people. I want more of them.
On a side note: I read 'In the Beginning'. Good book. Informative.
1) Freezer folk go to B5. One dead one alive. One murdered.
2) Upon opening the living, the woman's, tube there is a rush of air a spooky something. Something sensed, not observed by the regular senses. Spooks in space are not my friends.
3) Man goes off on que. Looks for the cause of his disturbance. Looks out the window in the floor. B5 is spinning!
Ok I just notice these things. It doesn't ruin the show for me though. It dose get me to ignore things that shouldn't be ignored.
4) Garabaldi was a gropo in the Earth Minibari War.
5) Gut eating monster is watching Ivonava in the freezer ship.
6) Lurker goes to freezer ship. figuring things out. The pull of the feeling.
7) Franklin stop hitting on your client's! All your lovers just go away at the end of the episode.
8) The Copernicus went into the gravitational pull of the moon the lurker was on as a gropo during the Earth Minbari War.
9) Lurker describes the thing that killed people in his unit as something from hell in the middle of a lightning ball. Vorlon meddling I think.
10) Locate Lightning Lad by feelings. I can chase down every little thing that has bitten me that way. O.o
11) The Lurker is floating in space. Seems the monster has him. he cries out to shoot it. We don't see it until it is shot. I'll blame FX.
12) Copernicus Had been reprogramed to go to Za'ha'doom. O2 lost at the moon.
What I get is bad scary things are trying to sneak to a rallying point to someplace with a vary corny name.
The monster thing was a little much, the FX on the monster was bad.
The best thing is how bad it could have been and wasn't.
1) Bureau 13. ' All ours now ' Boss woman losses job in Besters Psy Core shuffle? Allso is listed as dead.
2) Great view from Winter's room. :)
3) Shipping people in space in cargo boxes. No wounder the bugs show up to hassle Londo.
4) Negotiations: Mars and Business. Independence through trade. Now who wouldn't want that?
5) Sheridon told to spy on civilians. That is what spies are four. Not captions.
6) Why didn't Winters Psy blast the zappy killer?
7) '13 wants to kill Winters? Don't they know about her hidden personality? It dose happen.
8) A bit of overacting on Horns part. Specially when he gets him self shot. ;)
9) Do we hear of this effort again, Mars government and Future Corp.
Looks like a new enemy that didn't work out. Winters quiting messed things up much. :(

1) Londo's wives show up, Plague Pestilence, and Death. Thay dont look much like there photos. Marill's photo the worst!
2) Winter's ex husband Stoner shows up to make her a deal to get her out of PSY Core. She decided to stay who she is and not change. PSY Core made an empath.
3) Delenn adopting to her new body.
4) Centari have great parties! 30th anniversary of Londo's Ascension
5) Mariell hangs out with G'Kar? what the Smurff? Were are Londo's spies? Too bad we never hear from her again.
6) PSY Core defends Stoner even though he is no longer part of PSY Core. We never see him or his ilk again.
7) Londo stays with Timov, as with her he knows were he stands.
I'm not shure what I was to get out of this.
Winter's will stay a Teep perhaps? The Emperor favors Londo? Centari in high places will work with there enemies for power? Londo likes to know were he stands? Teeps can be altered into empaths?
Still, this is one of my favoret episodes. I would not want them all or most to be like this.
1) Sheridon and Ivonava to be charged for 7 square feet ( each? ) for the size of there rooms. Taking money from a readiness fund and giving it to them selves to keep the rooms they have.
2) Bester kills a man to get information. He is happy with the trade.
3) Garabaldi calls PSY Core a monster 'we' created. Out of fear we made a big box called PSY Core and put them into it.
4) Run away Teeps decide to kill Bester.
5) I recall Ivonava saying be afraid if she doesn't know what is going on. She doesn't know who is running the underground railroad.
6) Winters can keep secrets from Bester. Ironhart's gift credited.
7) Bester asks Winters if the death of the President is still talked about. Winters ask if it was an accident, Bester sed yes.
8) Winters taken by the runaways. The leader of the Underground Railroad makes a second showing. :)
9) The Underground Railroad leader believes Ironhart gave Winters a gift.
10) Franklin leader of the Underground Railroad. Sheridon upholds the military as the right thing. Franklin's helping the teeps get away is the moral thing to do. :P Clinic set up to help runaways.
11) Human teep breading program.
12) Teeps get mowed down. Winters was on Cores side.
13) Bester walks away on his own. To pretend they had nothing to do with all the dead. What, they just killed themselves? Week. :(
14) Oh it was all a ruse. PSY Core wont do a follow up? Or the records will be altered? Details I don't need to know?
15) Railroad to be closed. Too hot
16) Winters doesn't trust the core any longer.
17) Winters takes a bottle to Ivonava's place. Takes off the badge at Ivonava's goading. The relationship is growing.
What I got out of this episode:
PSY Core bad to teeps for its own advances.
Winters distrust PSY Core now.
Winters gifts from Ironhart and how powerfull they are.
The comming of Shadows
1) Centari Emperor Wants to go to B5 befour it is too late. He is dieing.
2) G'Kar list off offenses the Emperor's people and family have done to the Narn. G'Kar can't see beyond his hate of them.
3) A Ranger skulks about! :)
4) Rifa reveals plots to get power. Londo to read written speech that will make Rifa seem to have the answers, even though he will make some of the problems.
5) Sheridon in the military before Earth Minbari war.
6) Emperor Wants to apologise for what his family had done to the Narn to a Narn in neutral territory. He knows he is dieing and has been doing what others expected of him. He is done with that. He is doing what he should have been doing all along.
7) The Emperor collapses. G'Kar feels cheated.
8) Apology sent to G'Kar through Franklin. G'Kar finds hope for the two peoples.
9) Vir to Londo: Don't do this. The destruction of the Narn base, a listening post. Londo's dream of being strangled and the Shadows ships haunt his sleep.
10) The Narn post is destroyed. There are some survivors.
11) G'Kar buys a drink for Londo to celebrate the apology from the Emperor. Too late.
12) Londo seems to regret his action.
13) Garabaldi gets a message from Sinclair via the Ranger.
14) Garabaldi told to stay close to the Vorlon. Told there is a new race flexing power.
15) Kosh tells the Emperor it will end in fire.
16) Emperor tells Londo he is damed. Rifa ses it is a small price for immortality.
17) Sheriton tells Londo Earth will sent observers to the former Narn base. Earth will find out how the Centari took it so fast. Londo decides to send the Narns back to there home world. Hint that the Centari had help. Narns declair war on the Centari.
Lots going on. Had to go back as I kept forgetting to write things down and my exercise count.
What I got; The war takes a big step.
Londo doesn't like what he is doing but will keep on doing it as it is the Centari way.
Sinclair is working in secret to inform some of a new race to the table in hiding. Has informed B5 officers.
I don't like GROPOS so I skip it. It moves Franklin and Keffer along a bit. How ever it doesn't move the mane story as far as I can Tell. So on to;
All alone in the dark
1) Delenn gets recalled to see if she is still Minbari.
2) Sheriden goes out for a quick fly around. Reports of something abnormal.
3) Ship pops in on Sheridon's group. Two killed, one damaged and leaking lethal amount of radiation Caption captured.
4) Sheridon to be 'Tested'.
5) Delenn booted from the Gray Council. Will remain Ambasador.
6) Naroon too take her place? But he is Warrior. I would like a The Lost Tales about that!
7) Sheridon's dream: Ivonava, Do you know who I ame? Then, Garabaldi: The man inbetween is searching for you. Then a view of Sheridon in black with a cat-o-nine-tails... umm no, a ridding crop type thing. Back to Ivonava who ses: You are the hand. Some black bird on Ivonava's shoulder the first time She is waring black with a black vail the second time and a wight bird on Garabaldie's. Behind is Kosh. Sheridon ask why is he here. Kosh ses for the first time his mind is quiet enough to hear him. Sheridon ask why ame I here. Kosh ses you have always been here.
8) Delenn in transit to B5 gets updated as to what happened. Says there the Scribe and gives there location. Sheridon rescued.
9) Drats I didn't write the general is it? his name. Sheridon complains he has been waiting six months with out being debriefed. Seems he is in on a plot to restore the government and suspect the last President was murdered. Suspect Psy Core.
Sheridon invites late at night Franklin, Garabaldi, and Ivonava into his quarters to invite them into the clandestine effort to remove the corruption from Earth Dome.
Earth Dome is at war with itself.
What I got from this episode:
1) Minbari are at lest a little bit xenophobes.
2) There are species looking to invade weaker worlds. ( they look like Drak light. )
3) I never get dream things so that is lost on me. :( But Kosh being there then near the end repeating that Sheriden had always been there. Kosh can get into peoples minds. Latter we will see just how he did that.
4) Things are bad at Earth Gove.
Then I recalled he had the most experience running an underground organisation.
And the Narn Sharaden battled in the Scribe ship we see latter if I got that correct.
