Hey, folks. Could someone in charge of the site get in contact with me soon? I need to hook you guys up with a download mirror on another server. As of right now, June 8 2007, your mod as pulled nearly 100gb of our total 400gb available bandwidth on the primary server. We've still got 300 to go, but I'd like to give CoL a mirror from which to host the more popular files (with this server as a secondary download source as needed). Once again, no cost, but It does need to be dealt with.
If it comes down to it, I might have to move the file to the other server and point your pages at the updated link, but I'd rather provide an account which can be managed and utilized in the future.
You can just reply to this thread if you wish. I'll check back regularly.

Anyway, the mod is pretty much closed in terms of development. Not sure what should be done with it. I'm quite surprised it still gets so much attention! It's a real pity to let go of it but the fact is I haven't had the time to develop it for a long long time and the future doesn't look any brighter.
I guess I'll try to find a mirror for the download asap.
I was fairly surprised by the downloads, too, but you should see some of the stats! The Homeworld mod is still being downloaded to this day.
