Hyperdrive using Heim's principals

I'm sure this has been posted, but here is a very interesting article on a propulsion system based upon Heim's view of space and time from New Scientist

It appears that the paper has enough weight that the AIAA is taking it seriously.

    Interesting! So how far away is that new potentially habitable planet again? ;) Heim's name rings a bell actually. Wasn't his research ignored for some time?

    Ah I've just checked the wiki on him and the date of the article. Yes I saw this last year. Its an interesting read alright.

    Yep, most of his research as a set of formulas that could accurately predict the mass of sub-atomic particles.

    Yeah I remember reading that when it was published. Very interesting. I wonder if anything is happening regarding it
