Dax, if you come to Rochester, it's Bill Gray's for you! :p Good, fresh-made burgers.

Entil-zha, Gabby and I might actually be in the Maine region this summer, so we were thinking of you. Perhaps we could arrange a meet of some sort? And Dax, we're still investigating the possibilities in New Glasgow.
You've never had a cup of coffee?!?
I haven't, either. I've just never seen the point.

Not that a point is necessary, either you like the taste or you don't.

And I don't care for McBari's either, that place with the golden headbones. :D

Sanfam, If you make it near us, then Definately. it's hard in the summer as we work such insane hours, But i'm sure we could arrange something.
• Entil'ZhaEntil'Zha I see famous people
Dax, And Tea, we've also got lots and lots of Tea.
• ShadowDancerShadowDancer When I say, "Why aye, gadgie," in my heart I say, "Och aye, laddie." London, UK
I love tea, especially Yorkshire tea! :D
• Entil'ZhaEntil'Zha I see famous people

• DaxDax Redshirt
never had tea either *blush*

Sanfam: Halifax! I'll be in Halifax!

Entil'Zha and I think that there should be a firstones meetup soon, we can get Worf over here again, RC can come up from MD and then whoever else is on the east coast- what does everyone think?
• Entil'ZhaEntil'Zha I see famous people
You've never had tea? wow, Coffee i can understand, but never even Tea? we shall have to cure you of that..

I'd say we could have a gather in my little town here, beautiful area, national park, only problem is that its so far away from just about everyone. lol. i'd say that you Dax are the closest, and you're in a different country! hahahah.

Not even tea?!?! My god you are weird ;)
• SanfamSanfam I like clocks.
Halifax is boring! ;) Though Air Canada appears to fly there.

Also, how the hell don't you have tea in this world?! Didn't your mother drink a ton or something? :P

Also, RC having enough free time to come up? waddaya thinking?! :p

Though, an actual FirstOnes group retreat would be an interesting event. marathon some B5, just hang out and do something neat.
• DaxDax Redshirt
yep I am weird ;) (see post in other thread- "would you want it any other way?")

And Sanfam: yeah my whole fam are tim horton's whores :P I think that's what drove me off...

Ohh firstones retreat.. sounds fantastic!

Tut tut... I dunno Dax, this no-tea thing is not good. I'd advise you to avoid going to Ireland then :D
• sataicallistasataicallista High Priestess of Squeee!
No tea!?!?!?! Wow.....I LOVE tea, especially lemony sun tea
• Entil'ZhaEntil'Zha I see famous people
So Dax, i can't give you free coffe, i can't give you free tea, Hmm how bout, uhh, Cinnamon Buns?
• BigglesBiggles The Man Without a Face
I, too, have never drunk a cup of English tea in my life. Nor any of those weird fruity ones. In fact, the only hot drinks I've ever had are milo (yuck), drinking chocolate and green tea (kinda had no choice there).
• DaxDax Redshirt
smoothies rock! but buns ARE tasty too... hmmm I am sure if I get there I can figure it out

and yeah hot beverages aren't a fave of mine.. I like hot chocolate in the winter but that's about it...
• Entil'ZhaEntil'Zha I see famous people
Oh, well we do have several different kinds of Hot Chocolate as well.
• SanfamSanfam I like clocks.
Honestly, Maine seems like a good mid-point to settle on for a vacation :p It's equally far from almost all of us ;)
• Entil'ZhaEntil'Zha I see famous people
if there's a bright center to the country, Maine 's the state that its farthest from.
• sataicallistasataicallista High Priestess of Squeee!
I like Maine. It has lighthouses and lobsters and pretty beaches and seashells and neat rock formations.
• BigglesBiggles The Man Without a Face
Ah, but you don't live there.
• DaxDax Redshirt
yeah, I lived there for 3 years... but it's not that hard to get to from Halifax so it could work.
• Entil'ZhaEntil'Zha I see famous people

Yeah, and ME! lol, After living in NYC for 7 years, coming back to maine was Soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo nice.

Living on an island is fun.
• sataicallistasataicallista High Priestess of Squeee!
Which island in Maine do you live on? Vinal Haven? I've been there! :D
• Entil'ZhaEntil'Zha I see famous people
Nope., Mount Desert Island, home of Acadia National Park, I've been all around the country, and i still say this is one of the most beautiful places, Dax can prolly agree as it's a lot like NS.

It gets a little crazy in the summer what with the few million tourists, but it's a great place.
• sataicallistasataicallista High Priestess of Squeee!
Ooo I've been to Acadia too, though that was longer ago and I remember less. Somewhere there's a picture of it that I later painted. I have the painting but not the picture.
• Entil'ZhaEntil'Zha I see famous people
Its a great place, i love it.

I lived in Dover-Foxcroft Maine for 3 years, small town, was ok but there's no place like home. Nova Scotia is like Maine but ask Brad haha, the trees change a bit and the people are friendlier (of course present company excepted from that rule), Canadians in general are a little bit more laid back but I always find exceptions on both sides.

So, when do we think that we can meet up?
• Entil'ZhaEntil'Zha I see famous people
A lot of the canadians i meet are not laid back, but thats cause they are on vacation, and NOBODY is laid back on vacation, they are trying so hard to ahve a good time, that they make themselves miserable, LOL.

When can we meet up, Uhh, i'm free at 5pm... hahahah
