I seen the news report about him setting a fire in his dorm and the stalking women some time before the shooting rampage on Monday. I don't know why he wasn't kicked out when those issues happened. The small time colleges I attended in the early ninty's would kick you out for any fire setting, stalking behavior like that.
"theres a deeply ingrained and acute paranoia coiled about the roots of the collective US psyche, poke it the wrong way and out springs a Minuteman, musket and marching boots, eagle eyes on the horizon looking for redcoats, for an enemy, for something to fight, something to defend themselves from whilst draped in star spangled banners..."

It just gets worse and worse! Apparently he was even interviewed by police a year ago after complaints be female students were made against him, was in a mental unit, and he was "well known both to campus authorities and local law enforcement agencies."
Not someone I'd want roaming around my uni campus!
The police on my campus carry guns. Perhaps if the VA Tech police were allowed to do the same, this could have been stopped. Then again, I go to an urban university and from what I hear, the others around me do as well. At the previous college I attened as an undergraduate, the police were unarmed (both of the campuses I went to).
the worst was apparently yet to come... in between shootings the kid took pics and video of himself with guns, wrote a shit load of crap and sent it all to NBC.
Brilliant.

I've only seen excerpts on BBC news, but man thats just creepy stuff.
Yet again we have some one who was picked up for having serious mental issues but slipped through the system. Happens all too often. That video sure was creepy alright.
The weather is beautiful, there are blossoms on the trees on my street, it's 21 degrees.
The sun is shining, there is not a cloud in the sky.
Most of us are worrying about exams, or graduation or finding a job or something else arbitrary in comparison to those enveloped by grief.
- Virginia tech- April 16th
- Columbia student tortured and raped for 19 hours in NYC- April 16th
- Oklohoma city bombing- April 19th
- Columbine April 20th
- Countless die all around the world every day because of unnecessary violence
I didn't think I would write something about this but it appears that I am connected to Virginia.
My heart goes out to Francine, I had met her mother years ago in high school when I hung out with Francine, I can't even imagine what Francine is going through.

I don't know how appropriate this is, but does anyone else who watched that psycho Cho's rantings think that he sounds like Napoleon Dynamite?
