Want to bet?

I started my Easter break early by taking Thursday off work. I made good use of this extra time by going for a ride in a 777. After that, I went for a ride on the Skyliner. Now I'm enjoying a bottle of my beloved melon soda.
I was right! I thought you had gone to Japan again :D

(looking for more of those Japanese girls? ;))

Well, Japan was a fairly safe guess to make. :)

This is my fifth time in Japan, and the first time I've seen cherry blossoms. I hate to say it, but they aren't flowing around in the wind behind girls with long hair.

Then what's the point going to Japan? ;)
• BigglesBiggles The Man Without a Face
For people who think that anime is representative of the real Japan? Nothing. :p

meh, there's karaoke bars around here too, sometimes entertaining when some drunk tries to sing some Brittney Spears song or whatever ;)
• MessiahMessiah Failed Experiment
Ah, but Japan is where it all began.. ;)
• CurZCurZ Resident Hippy
No, it began in Africa-ca-ca-ca-ca-ca-ca-ca-ca-ca-ca-ca-ca-ca-ca-ca-ca...
• Lord RefaLord Refa Creepy, but in a good way
I have done karaoke.. and its up on youtube.

I figure the public humiliation is more than enough for me to never, ever, ever, fucking ever, do it again.
• PSI-KILLERPSI-KILLER Needs help
Just drink allot of hot saki and you will sing fine, and the next day you can sing even better in the toilet, thats my method.

I did karoke last summer for the first time, but I was making an intentional ass of myself for the benefit of campers... fun.. kinda

a likely excuse! :p

There are local, state, federal, and international laws that prevent me from singing in public. To do so would mean my immediate incarceration.
• BigglesBiggles The Man Without a Face
I've done karaoke in Japan. In my opinion, it's much like anywhere else: you make an idiot out of yourself in front of your friends. :)
• BigglesBiggles The Man Without a Face
Some people, however, prefer to do it in front of large crowds of people. Some are good, some are bad. I'll let you make up your own mind about this one. :)

I don't think I do too well in the realm of Karaoke. Sataicallista, I think, seemed to act if my performance didn't cause a number of local suicides.
• sataicallistasataicallista High Priestess of Squeee!
I've done karaoke often but then again, I can actually sing. Sanfam's gallery has all the proof...well, that I sang anyway, not that I sang well. I'm still working on getting some videos as proof.

I did karaoke in Japan as well. In fact, I sang a Japanese song. Rhythm Emotion by Two-Mix, from the Gundam Wing soundtrack.

You're better than many. At least you stayed ON KEY. That's the thing that bothers me the most when people sing is they can't sing on key.
• SanfamSanfam I like clocks.
But singing off-key makes it funny. Plus, I chose the anthem of the tone-deaf: Particle man.
