.. at the moment my SB Audigy, home stereo and Philips SBC HP2000 stereo headphones are pumping out Franke's music at dengerously high bass and volume levels.

Dang 'that music is good. Even to my 36-year old ears. At many locations it still brings shivers to my neck remembering some classic episodes, and of course there are the fantastic soundtracks of ItF that never pulled through .. after a simple, sudden change in music rhythm I can see myself rushing into an epic battle with my poor, wounded Starfur 2007(TM) ... *ach*

Yes I know! I'm a sad, old idiot. But that series went under mys skin like nothing ever before. It was beautiful. *sigh* Damn you, Sierra. I'll get you for this!
