The Prestige

Lord RefaLord Refa Creepy, but in a good way
In my madness I let this nice little movie haunt my thoughts. I dont know.. but for some reason I have always felt being in the shadow of something else.

I mean.. Maybe I am the turn and someone else like me is having all the prestige?

I have seen people who have been exact replicas of some other I have known or seen in my years but maybe you need to have a unique mind like myself to really get the worst of it. Or maybe I'm just nuts. Best part would be both. Just would have to find myself and kill myself. I think. Anyways. It was a nice movie.. Sad ending tho. The villain did get what he deserved, but the heros death was unjustified really.. I preferred the ending of the book.

And maybe I shouldnt judge myself so harshly. But it is a difficult think to accomplish. :nervous:

Villain, hero? Was there such in the film?

Well, I guess the other Borden was innocent. The other caused all the accidents to Angier and killed his wife. But still, I think Angier was the most good.

In my perspective, Borden was the most good, but its all a matter of perspective, and at least according to me, all three did evil acts..

Spoiler: Also, from my perspective, Angier killed himself over and over, so the original man was not the guy being shot in the end..

Angier was actually the guy killing himself over and over.

Borden was the dude with twins. :)

In the original story Angier was treated more humanly.. I mean, the teleportation did leave him behind, but only as a empty husk. He didnt exactly kill himself over and over then. And as I said and you said.. He only did kill himself.

Spoiler: Ah yes. But still it was Borden I meant that was more good. Angier did condemn him to death, and stole his daughter. Thats evil. But as I said, none of them were good..

Spoiler: The one with the daughter stayed free, I think.. Cuz you remember, he said he loved Sarah.. So he was the one who had the daughter. The other one, who tied the harder knot in the beginning was the one who went to be hanged.
