Thank you for keeping the color scheme. It should make getting used to the new look easier.

I see the green dot on Falcon appears on top of text. And links in Yellow on screens in Gray (login, reply, etc) don't work so well.

Looks like we still have a few tweaks to do :)

EDIT: The green dot issue vanished once I was logged in. Seems like a bug.

Also, the icons have icky antialiasing that assumes the page is white. And the new post/old post/I posted in topic icons are a bit harder to read than the old ones. Are we going to have another custom button contest?

Sanfam is planning on sorting out the icons today some time. We spent most of the time yesterday after upgrading the forum software trying to make the CSS and templates look less ugly. :)

it took me a while to remember my password. I wish Sanfam had read my PM that I sent to him before he bought the upgrade. I have an unused copy of VB3.

The default theme is hideous, but it's still much more pleasant the let's-party-like-it's-1999 theme we used to have. The only thing missing was a photo background.
  • Arethusa you have alot of negative opinions its really a drag...

The icons do look better now. The Offline/Online ones need work though.

Damn it there was cake and nobody told me!

Actually, the vB2 isn't compatible with PHP5. vB3 is. This means we are no longer restricted should we decide to upgrade the server.

Further, vB3 has support for integration with the wiki, allowing everyone to have one account (eventually) for The Great Machine and the Forums.

Sanfam, in the past currently active users was displayed at the top. Now it's displayed at the bottom. Think we can change that? :) (at the thread list level; not the global highest forum level)
