No doubt this will be twisted to prove that hippy celts actually lived there.

Nice find though. Hard to tell if that site is linked to the construction of the Henge itself as the entire area there is part of a very elaborate ritual landscape covering more than one monument.

Oh and the last guy mentioned, Julian Thomas, he taught me at Southampton. Fantastic theoretical archaeologist. His books are very heavy reading though :)

Actually I have it on good authority the Stonehenge was a Vorlon practical joke. The idea was to stack a bunch of stones on top of each other for no particular reason and watch as humanity spent endless years of research and dedication to try and figure out what its purpose was. It was just a bunch of rocks!

Or perhaps it's the key to humanity developing telepathic abilities.

    Hey, that's an idea!

Anyone have a backyard where we can stack huge chunks of stone?

Only if we can arrange them in such a way, that from space, they read "NO VACANCY"

The trick would be to do it so that noone notices for a few hundred years. Otherwise we'd risk there being records of it and thus future generations not being confused. :)

Or make it out of sturdier stuff, so in a few thousand years itll still be there when the information about this age is not.

what is theoretical archeology? is it when you think about doing some, then decide to go to the pub instead?
