    especially when he's got no flashback, any backyard pyro knows that a flamethrower must have a flashback arrestor, ( usually a piece of very fine steel mesh atleast an inch from the projector nozzle, with the igniter in front of your flash arrestor.

    Without a flash arrestor there is a not insignificant risk of flame travel back into your fuel system, especially on a non positive pressure system.

    by the way... thats not even close to half my best design in terms of flame travel/size
