More when I've seen it myself. Seems to me that this movie is a variation on "28 Days Later."

Lol! Well I guess if you're not ripping it to shreds it must mean something :D I'll be checking it out next time I go to see a movie.
i was trying to remember what the last thing i actually saw at the movies was, and i think it was ice age 2. i always say i'll go see some movie, but i never do
We went to see it, and I really enjoyed it, but my wife actually had the same complaints that that reviwer did.
From a technical standpoint it was fairly impressive as well. There are multiple long shots where almost the entire scene is one long take, and it includes action, explosions, chases, and gun play all in one take. Quite impressive chorography and timing to get everything to work just right.
Spoiler: The ending bothered me, though. Cutting to the title card abruptly like that struck me as.. bizarrely lazy. Theo's "death" also seemed rather contrived for a movie that was, up to that point, very messy and realistic, even if they didn't make that clear. Mostly, though, it was the ending at the very end that felt strange.
Also note that there were half a dozen writers involved in the film so this wasn't a one man deal. But that did make it great. Just wish whoever wrote the ending would have gotten the boot. has anyone actually read the book though?
Spoiler: they really made a good point oh theres the baby oh it got through all of the shooting ok lets go back to what we were doing and kill each other again.
